Frequently Asked Questions:

What benefits does RTS provide?

RTS offers a comprehensive benefits package. Some of these include medical insurance with Blue Cross/Blue Shield, 401(k) with match, vacation pay and paid holidays. Qualified applicants will receive more information.

How is a MiniMaster different than traditional contracting?

The MiniMaster partnerships are unit cost contracts designed to help AT&T control engineering expenses. Since pricing is already determined for these 69 units, the contract process is more efficient.

How is RTS paying Engineers?

Most of the positions we’re filling are based on “PFP” or Pay for Performance. For each of the 69 units, employees are paid at Tier 1 or Tier 2 rates based on demonstrated levels of proficiency. RTS first implemented a Pay for Performance plan in 2002; we’ve found it’s an excellent way to match pay with skill set and work ethic. PFP isn’t for everyone, but it removes the artificial constraint of salary bands and allows the company to better control costs. For an average engineer, the pay under our PFP plan is roughly comparable to prevailing hourly rates. More information and examples of how the PFP program works will be provided to qualified applicants.

How is RTS different than other OSP Engineering companies?

First, RTS focuses on quality above all else; allowing the customer to “fire and forget” when sending us work. This confidence ultimately reduces the time and overall financial cost associated with redundant reviews and potentially having to send the work back multiple times for correction.

Second, RTS provides exceptional training and opportunities to learn from the best engineers in the field. Our standards are high and not everyone will meet them, but for those willing to put in the effort, RTS can be a place to have a career, not just a job for a couple of years.
